This program is part of our broader mission to empower communities through inclusive education and environmental awareness, while creating meaningful, responsible travel experiences.
At Banjika Secondary School, volunteers contribute directly to improving education quality by sharing knowledge, mentoring students, and supporting teachers. Your time and skills will leave a lasting impact on young lives, especially those from marginalized groups, including students with disabilities and albinism.
Your Role as a Volunteer
Volunteers at Banjika Secondary School contribute in various capacities, depending on their background and interests:
- Teach in Classrooms: Assist in English, Math, Science, Geography, or Computer Studies.
- Mentor Students: Offer career guidance, confidence-building activities, and life skills training.
- Support Teachers: Help plan lessons, bring in new teaching methods, and co-teach classes.
- Sanitation & Health Support: Educate girls on menstrual hygiene and distribute reusable sanitary items.
- Organize Clubs & Activities: Lead environmental clubs, debate forums, music, or sports.
Commitment Timeframe:
