Community conservation
Protecting wildlife works better when local people share in the purpose.
Tanzania's protected areas do not exist in isolation. Wildlife moves through landscapes where people live, farm, raise livestock and build their futures. Conservation therefore has to make sense for communities as well as ecosystems.
Seeds supports education, local awareness and partnership around conservation priorities connected to northern Tanzania, including the wider Tarangire–Manyara landscape and Maasai Steppe.
